Mezzanotte, mistero in alto mare al primo sguardo può richiamare, a tutti gli effetti, Cluedo o uno dei tanti giochi a lui ispirati. In effetti alcune dinamiche del gioco, edito in Italia da Playagame Edizioni per 2-6 giocatori, possono ricordare il famosissimo gioco degli anni novanta, ma visto che da buone balene preferiamo non restare in superficie, andiamo in profondità; non ci resta che salire a bordo di una immensa, lussuosa e… fatale nave da crociera per capire quali “chicche” investigative ci aspettano.
